What an AMAZING place. Looks like a beautiful highschool from the outside! Super easy and people were super friendly!!!
I stopped by here three times in the last few weeks to clean up after our move and I just wanted to say that each time the attendants at the booth were so friendly and knowledgeable. The guy in the Mariner’s hat was very kind and set me up to come in and the one with the dark, shaggy hair was patient and answered all 500 questions I had. Phenomenal service! When I went back again there were two blonde ladies that were just incredibly understanding and helpful because I forgot my wallet!! Did you know they take Apple Pay? You do now! Total lifesaver. Thank you! :-)
I will definitely be back again but I won’t have another conversation with the mannequin in recycling. LOL (I thought it was a real person!)
And OMG I see all these people complaining about getting charged for not tying down their stuff. Are you trying to injure or kill someone? Let’s be safe and not make excuses for our ignorance when it’s totally preventable! I know I don’t want your junk flying through my windshield!
They have places to separate your trash from recyclables here which is great to see a way to help things get properly disposed of and reused if possible. The facility is actually fairly clean seeming and well maintained. The day I was there I did not notice a horrible stench but it was also a cool day outside so not sure what it's like on hot sunny summer days.
They went back to receiving appliances for dumping (recycle) which is great!
FYI: cover and secure your loads and not be charged $25 for unsafe loads - they enforce it in the facility STRICTLY.
I come here often for my real estate business and Cherry Tricia is super friendly, helpful, and always has a great smile! Her attitude + positive energy makes the trip here that much more enjoyable!!
Factoria transfer station is at least one of my favorite (if not my favorite of all) transfer stations. Very nice staff, very easy to back in (even with a trailer). No ropes or chains in your way. Just easily throw your dump items down.
The folks who work in the gate office are always polite and friendly. It must be cold and smelly in there but they keep a great attitude.
I know some people say this place is just garbage, but it's more than that to me. It's convenient, the lovely staff is always friendly, and I always feel lighter when I leave this place.
The new facility is fantastic, it's clean, and they keep all the garbage stacked to the right, much like Congress. Lots of parking, misters in the ceilings to keep the stench down, and they even take clean wood and recycle. What more could you want from a dump?
